Matthew Wheeler

Chairman

Matthew joined Blues as Chairman in July 2007 when Penta Capital backed a management buy out. He was previously Chairman of Copyright Promotions Group, the leading pan European licensing agency.
Matthew has been building and developing international businesses in the sports and entertainment sector for the last 20 years.  In the early 1990s he was Chief Executive of Alan Pascoe's API group and then became Group Managing Director of Octagon, the sports and entertainment division of Interpublic (NYSE:IPG).
Since 2001 he has worked with the European Private Equity industry investing in and growing a number of businesses by backing strong operational management teams.
